You need to be great at publicity. You should be the person always wanting to meet a new journalist, happy to pick up the phone to chat as well as get coverage.
Ideally you will have experience in a fast paced press office for 12-18 months, and be a dab hand at securing features, event attendees and news hits, as well as making sure the coverage reports get done on time. You will be a hands on person who isn’t afraid to get stuck in.
If you haven’t worked in PR, but you work in the drinks industry and have transferable skills (sales, marketing etc), can write well, are a real people person and networker and are excited to pick up the phone, this could be something we can consider.
